Poland To Help Ukraine?

It looks like Poland will be able to provide 6 of the 8 stadia needed for Euro 2012 following the constant concerns coming out of the former Soviet republic regarding their preparedness for the tournament which is still four years away.

So Ukraine have until September to prove to Michel Platini that they're capable of co-hosting the tournament.

The thing is that work hasn't started on the new stadium in the Polish capital and contractors not even appointed for the refurbishment of the Kiev stadium.

These are the stadia that are due to take part:

Warsaw, Wroclaw, Gdansk and Poznan in Poland and Kiev, Lviv, Donets, and Dnipropetrovsk in Ukraine. Whilst Chrozow and Krakow are in line to take up Euro 2012 duties if needed.

Watch out for news on 23rd / 24th September regarding the tournament.
