Beckham & Cole Back - But Will It Be Enough?

When Rio got his yellow card against Russia which meant he'd miss the game against Croatia we were 1-0 up and I didn't fear a thing. A few minutes later we were 2-1 down and I was filling my pants.

Now Wayne Rooney is injured and we have to hope that Israel do the business over Russia next weekend if we are to have any hope of qualifying.

David Beckham has often been England's savouir, but his effort can only bring the glory that he, and us desire if the Israel result goes our way.

At the moment it looks like we'll have to contend ourselves with the 2008 Olympics next year and prepare for the football world cup. Not happy!
