Basel Football Stadium - Travel Information (St. Jakob-Park)

FC Basel play at St. Jakob-Park. It currently has a capacity of 39,000 but will be raised to 42,500 for the Euro 2008 finals.

Its another relatively new one, having been finished in 2001. During the tournament it will host 6 games including the opening match and 2 other group games and the semi-final.

The airport is about 7 miles of the stadium.

Basel Train Station:
The train station is only about a mile from the stadium - straight down (south east on Saikt-Jakobs-Strasse.
