England 3 Estonia 0 - Result and Review

The England v Estonia Euro 2008 qualifying game was most certainly a game of two halves.

Shaun Wright-Phillips set off a magical twenty minutes with a great one-two and deissive move into the box and with one thing in minde - shooting an average shot at goal. Thankfully Poom was not at the races as he let it slide between his legs. Not a classic goal by any stretch of the immagination. But they all count and set the lads off.

Rooney got back on the England score-sheet when his 15 yard short deflected in beyond the unlucky Poom. His luck didn't change a minute later after a deflected cross was headed in by Taavi Rhan.

It was obvioulsy a comfortable first half, but the second was just a non-event as the result was never in doublt.

With Croatia and Israel to play later, England are level on points at the top, but have played a game more.
