ITV and BBC To Jointly Broadcast the Tournament
Sky won't be happy, but both ITV and BBC have agreed a deal to jointly share the broadcasting of the Euro 2008 tournament. This doesn't only cover the traditional TV programmes, but also the internet and mobile broadcasts.
Any guesses who'll be the presenters and pundits?
An interesting stat from the BBC blog is that "last year 75% of all terrestrial television viewing to sport was on the BBC." Now that's a bit of a shock. But when you think of the dire quality of ITV sports coverage, it's not all that suprising!
