Debut For Ben Foster

The highly rated United prospect Ben Foster will get his first England cap against Spain on Wednesday night. But the match has been blighted by the absence of Wayne Rooney and Aaron Lennon through injury and illness.

But still it'll be an interesting game when you look at the squad. You've got Woodgate rightly getting a chance to show himself in defence and Wright-Phillips will be able to prove his pace and cunning on the wing.

It looks like Mclaren will play a pseudo 4-3-3 formation with Wright-Phillips and Dyer in advanced positions with Gerrard, Carrick and Lampard holding midfield.

Crouch will play a solitary role up front but with the supply that the wingers can give and his ability to hold up the ball for strikes from Gerrard and Lampard we can expect to provide a good challenge for Casillas.

So my prediction: 2-1

Full England Squad:

Foster (Watford)
Gary Neville (Man Utd)
Phil Neville (Everton)
Rio Ferdinand (Man Utd)
Woodgate (Middlesbrough)
Gerrard (Liverpool, capt)
Carrick (Man Utd)
Wright-Phillips (Chelsea)
Lampard (Chelsea)
Dyer (Newcastle)
Crouch (Liverpool)
