Will it be?

Everyone's predicting that Italy will be awarded the Euro 2012 Championships. And, to be honest, they're probably right.

Turkey and Greece have already been rejected which leaves the joint bids from Croatia & Hungary and Poland / Ukraine against the one from Italy.

The major problems with these other nations in terms of their road/rail and general provisions for the tourist.

The decision will be made on 18th April in Cardiff, but all the nations still have to conduct a final presentation - so anything can go wrong (or right - depending on your perspective).

As we've mentioned on the Euro 2008 site, it looks like the tournament will witness 24 teams in the final battling for the title of European Champions.

With that many teams it'll be difficult up-dating a site like this, but we'll give it a go!
