Euro 2012 Qualifying Groups

Isn't this great? England and Wales in the same group. I bet Ryan Giggs wishes he hadn't retired from International football! And here's a prediction for you: Citeh's Craig Bellamy will be sent off against England in one of the matches!

The Turkey v. Germany games will be fruity too with massive population of Turks in Germany.

Northern Ireland will get at least a point against Itlay in a group that is harder than it initially looks.

France won't like the trips to Eastern Europe - some very tough groups there!

Holland and Portugal will like their groups and Scotland have a good chance in theirs.

Here's the full Euro 2012 Qualifying Groups:

GROUP A: Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Belgium, Austria, Turkey, Germany

GROUP B: Andorra, Armenia, Macedonia, Republic of Ireland, Slovakia, Russia

GROUP C: Faroe Islands, Estonia, Slovenia, NORTHERN IRELAND, Serbia, Italy

GROUP D: Luxembourg, Albania, Belarus, Bosnia, Romania, France

GROUP E: San Marino, Moldova, Hungary, Finland, Sweden, Netherlands

GROUP F: Malta, Georgia, Latvia, Israel, Greece, Croatia

Pre-Order The New England Football Kit 09/11

This is what they're saying the new England Home Football Kit will look like:

Personally, I don't think its much different from the old one, and I hope they're not releasing yet another new kit just to rake it in to pay for Wembley that they hideously over-spent on!

If you did want to buy or pre-order the new England home football kit for the seasons 09/11 then here's a couple of shops:

* Kitbag
* UK Soccer Shop.

What Are The Most Popular Football Products?

They also don't do well for "chocolate footballs", which is a surprise.

And at this time of year you should be looking at football stocking fillers too! Kids love them!

Polish Airports To Be Ready

The news is that the Polich airports will be ready for Euro 2012 is a boost. The Gdan'sk, Warsaw and Poznan airports will be operating at full capacity and comes as good news after the Polish Minister of Infrastructure, Krzysztof Siwek, has given the airports EUR 80 billion to restructure.

Go on, you know you want to buy your son or daughter (or even yourself) a football Easter egg!! Thorntons are doing some really cheap ones for just £3.50 which you can't really argue with!

Poland To Help Ukraine?

It looks like Poland will be able to provide 6 of the 8 stadia needed for Euro 2012 following the constant concerns coming out of the former Soviet republic regarding their preparedness for the tournament which is still four years away.

So Ukraine have until September to prove to Michel Platini that they're capable of co-hosting the tournament.

The thing is that work hasn't started on the new stadium in the Polish capital and contractors not even appointed for the refurbishment of the Kiev stadium.

These are the stadia that are due to take part:

Warsaw, Wroclaw, Gdansk and Poznan in Poland and Kiev, Lviv, Donets, and Dnipropetrovsk in Ukraine. Whilst Chrozow and Krakow are in line to take up Euro 2012 duties if needed.

Watch out for news on 23rd / 24th September regarding the tournament.

Euro 2008 Loser Football Shirts Reduced

The latest teams to get knocked out not only have to face the indignation of going home early but also have to see their shirts reduced in price!

Subside Sports have just sent me over the latest shirts to be slashed (in price that is):

07-08 France Home shirt - £26.99

08-09 France Away shirt £26.99

07-09 Czech Republic Away shirt £26.99

08-09 Czech Republic Home Shirt - 26.99

To say I'm shocked about France being knocked out is an understatment! What's happened to them - well at least we won't see Mr Henry scoring goals against us in future!! I'm still remembering our World Cup 06 opening game against them :-(
